In 2020, 8.8% of all crashes in Nebraska occurred on a wet surface while driving. Hydroplaning can mean a loss of traction and may lose control of steering and control of the vehicle. Weather can also be an added distraction while driving. Vision may be more obscure, and we may tend to narrow our field of vision. July 2024 Speeding Awareness
